Since the 2026/27 season, football fans in the US have had an interesting opportunity to watch the Bundesliga live online for free: Fandango broadcasts the majority of Bundesliga matches live for free. A long-term agreement covering English-language broadcasting rights was concluded between the Bundesliga and USA Sports ahead of the new season.
Under this deal, more than 300 Bundesliga matches per season will be broadcast on USA Network and Fandango. At least 30 selected matches will be shown on traditional television on USA Network. The majority of the remaining matches, however, will be available to stream live for free on Fandango. The Bundesliga Conference is also available on Fandango. Under the name ‘Goal Arena – The Bundesliga Conference’.
Which Bundesliga matches does Fandango show?
In the 2026/27 season, Fandango will show more than 270 Bundesliga matches live and free of charge. This means that the vast majority of the season will be available on the streaming service. Only a comparatively small selection of at least 30 matches per season will instead be broadcast on USA Network.

Why is Fandango suddenly showing the Bundesliga for free?
This is due to new US media rights for the Bundesliga. USA Sports by Versant has been the Bundesliga’s exclusive English-language rights partner in the United States since the 2026/27 season. The rights are essentially divided between two platforms within the package:
- USA Network broadcasts at least 30 selected Bundesliga matches per season on television.
- Fandango will broadcast the majority of the remaining matches as free live streams.
According to current information, the agreement runs up to and including the 2030/31 season. In parallel, Spanish-language broadcasting rights exist in the US. Telemundo and Universo show selected matches, whilst the Bundesliga is also streamed in Spanish via Peacock.
Is Fandango an official Bundesliga streaming provider?
Yes, Fandango is also listed on the Bundesliga’s official website as one of its US partners. Alongside Fandango, USA Network, Telemundo and Peacock are mentioned there.
It is therefore not an unofficial football stream or a streaming website without broadcasting rights, but an officially licensed provider.
Can you watch Fandango outside the US?
The DFL grants streaming rights for various countries and regions separately. In each country, the relevant rights are held by a different provider.
