These channels show the Bundesliga for free
In the 2026/27 season, several official TV channels and streaming services hold Bundesliga rights and will broadcast individual matches or even a large part of the season for free. Which matches are available varies depending on the provider and matchday.

The range of free content is particularly extensive in the USA. Fandango will be one of the official English-language Bundesliga partners from the 2026/27 season onwards. Whilst at least 30 matches per season will be broadcast on the USA Network, all other Bundesliga matches will be streamed free of charge via Fandango. This means that several hundred matches per season will be available for free there.
BBC iPlayer (UK): There are also regular free Bundesliga live streams in the UK. The BBC holds the rights to the Bundesliga’s Friday matches and broadcasts them via the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport’s digital platforms. This means that one selected Bundesliga match can be watched for free every Friday during the season.
ABEMA (Japan): The Japanese streaming service ABEMA will continue to broadcast selected Bundesliga matches free of charge during the 2026/27 season. The focus is particularly on matches involving clubs with Japanese players. According to the Bundesliga, two matches per matchday will be available live for free. In addition, there will be free highlights of selected matches.
Digi Sport/Digi Sport 4 (Romania): In Romania, Digi Sport is the official Bundesliga rights partner. Which match is shown on which of the various Digi Sport channels – for example, Digi Sport 4 – depends on the matchday in question. The Bundesliga itself lists Digi Sport as the official broadcaster for Romania.
CazéTV (Brazil) is one of the broadcast partners officially listed by the Bundesliga in Brazil. The channel is particularly well known for its free-to-view sports broadcasts on YouTube. Which Bundesliga matches are shown for free on CazéTV can vary from matchday to matchday.
Canal GOAT also holds Bundesliga rights in Brazil and is officially listed by the Bundesliga as a broadcaster. Broadcasts are available via, amongst other platforms, GOAT’s free-to-access YouTube channel. As not every match is shown there, it is worth checking the fixture list before each matchday.
Jovem Pan Esportes (Brazil): Jovem Pan has acquired Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga rights for three seasons from 2026/27 onwards. Three matches are shown per matchday: one from the 1. Bundesliga and two from the 2. Bundesliga. The matches are broadcast on the Jovem Pan Esportes YouTube channel and on free-to-air television, amongst other platforms.
Brazil is therefore one of the countries with the most interesting free Bundesliga streams. In addition to CazéTV, Canal GOAT and Jovem Pan, the official Bundesliga website lists further rights partners such as SportyNet, RedeTV and OneFootball.
Are the Bundesliga streams linked here really legal?
Yes, we only link to official broadcasters and streaming services that hold the relevant broadcasting rights or licences for the Bundesliga. These include, for example, traditional TV channels and their video libraries, as well as official YouTube channels run by licensed rights holders.
We do not link to traditional streaming portals, re-streams or websites that offer broadcasts without the rights holders’ consent. The links lead directly to the official services of the respective broadcasters or platforms.
Why do broadcasting rights vary from country to country?
The Bundesliga’s broadcasting rights are allocated internationally on a country-by-country and region-by-region basis. The scope of the coverage depends, amongst other things, on the respective rights agreement, the significance of the Bundesliga in the relevant market and the broadcaster’s strategy. Some providers broadcast only one selected match per matchday, whilst others hold significantly more extensive rights.
Why are many Bundesliga streams region-locked?
Many Bundesliga streams are only available in certain countries because broadcasting rights are awarded on a regional basis. This means that a broadcaster or streaming service is generally only authorised to show Bundesliga matches within a specific country or licence area.
To comply with these requirements, providers use geoblocking. This involves using the IP address to determine the country from which a user is accessing the stream. If the IP address is located outside the permitted territory, the live stream is often automatically blocked or does not appear at all.
